25 years, so many changes. When Babylon Dental began in 1983
there were two staff members; Dr. Brown and Tory, and a handful
of patients. Now there are 34 employees, six dentists, and over
5,000 patients ( I think this includes the entire town of Lindenhurst).
The office has been re-decorated a few times and expanded at
least once. Staff has been hired, resigned and come back again.
Patients move away, new patients come in. Staff members retire,
one beloved staff member passed away after a valiant fight with
cancer.
But there is one thing that never changes. That is the total
professionalism and caring that is always evident when you go
to "Dr. Browns" There are many excellent dentists on
Long Island including the dentists at Babylon Dental. But the
entire staff at Babylon Dental takes that extra magical step
- they really care. If you're afraid to go to the dentist, Babylon
Dental is the place for you. I know of people who say it's like
getting a massage for their gums. If you just plain hate the
dentist, Babylon Dental is for you. Ask Tim Kelly. He has a customized
visit that makes going to the dentist almost enjoyable. If you're
intimidated by the cost of going to the dentist. Not to worry,
at Babylon Dental a plan will be worked out.
When patients go to Babylon Dental not only is the staff totally
professional towards the patients, they are also supportive and
caring towards each other. They are truly a team and it shows.
So to Dr. Brown, To Tory and all the caring staff at Babylon
Dental HAPPY 25th! and may you have 25 more!!
Sincerely
Mary Kelly {Tory's sister}
Let me first say congratulations to Dr. Clifford Brown ,Victoria
Sheehan and the entire Babylon Dental Staff.
Wow 25 years!!! You should be proud!
25 years it's like a marriage and people ask how do you do
it?
Well believe it simply starts at the core. And that core is
Dr. Brown and Tory.
I remember my first experience with Dr. Brown. 26 years ago
my sister Tory was working at Universal Dental in the Times Square
store as a dental assistant. She always talked about this great
dentist she worked with so when I got a bad toothache she told
me to come in.
Now you have to realize I had a real fear of dentist ( when
I was young being strapped down by Dr. Grella and having teeth
pulled out) so I was extremely apprehensive. That all changed,
Dr. Brown was the most caring and gentile professional I had
ever met. He took the time to explain everything to me and never
rushed. 25 years later my entire family are patients of Babylon
Dental.
Later that year Tory moved on to Levittown as a Dental manager
but always missed working with Dr. Brown.
So when Dr. Brown opened his own practice and asked Tory to
come with him it just seemed right. That was the beginning of
Babylon Dental.
My sister will tell you she has worked with some really great
dentist but what makes Dr. Brown so special is that he is one
of the most caring and kindest people she has ever had the privilege
to know, and after 25 years that feeling has not wavered.
I think having 25 years of success comes from having the best
people around you and the willingness to grow and change. The
staff at Babylon Dental are always professional and friendly.
It reminds of that TV. show Cheers "where everybody knows
your name"... You always feel like family!
It has been my pleasure to be a patient of Babylon Dental for
over 25 years, and wish you and the entire staff many more years
of success.
Fondly,
Kathy Hurst and Family

Dear Cliff:
A very Happy 25th Anniversary. This surprise to honor you, is
well deserved.
It gives me so much pleasure to see how happy you are "NOW".
We became more than just Dr. and patient, we became friends and
have been together more than 25 years. I think I could say your
more like a son, instead of my dentist. I wish you continued
good luck and happiness always.
