How long have you been with Babylon Dental Care?
I just joined the team! I’m excited to join the Babylon Dental Care family.
Where did you grow up?
I’m a Long Island native! I’m from Hempstead originally, but now I live in Franklin Square.
What do you love about being a dentist?
It’s really important to me that my patients are comfortable, and I feel rewarded when I can relieve them of pain. I understand their fears, and I talk them through their anxieties.
How do you put your patients at ease?
I always make sure they know exactly what I’m doing as I do it. I also ask them to let me know if they’re in pain at any time, so we can take a break. I let my patients know that I’m here to help, and I never want to hurt them.
When did you know you wanted to be a dentist?
Strangely enough, it was on a golf course! When I was young, I was a caddy and often I would caddy for dentists. They were really nice people, and eventually, they invited me to their office to check out what they do. It was an amazing experience, and I immediately knew I wanted to be a dentist. I loved how they connected with their patients and provided a vital service.
What are your hobbies?
I may not be a caddy anymore, but I still love golf and I go as often as I can. I also love fitness and hiking, and I enjoy listening to audiobooks! I’m also really passionate about charity. When I was still in school, I went on a trip to the Dominican Republic to educate people about the importance of dental care and good oral hygiene. I was also the president of the Student National Dental Association, helped to tutor other students in training to become dentists, and raised money for oral cancer.
