Keri Hand
Dental Hygienist
Keri’s role in the BDC family is Dental Hygienist. Right after high school, Keri felt unsure about what path she wanted to take. She began a job as a dental receptionist, then worked her way to being an ortho assistant, where she met Dr. Baker. Dr. Baker then transitioned over to BDC and asked Keri to join him. Keri began pursuing a degree in Dental Hygiene and graduated from Farmingdale State College in 2012, becoming a long-standing, wonderful member of our hygiene team to this day. Keri stays inspired everyday by the deep connections she holds with her loyal patients. She loves forming those relationships, creating a family-like bond. The smiles and laughs that she shares with her patients brings her true joy. Keri loves welcoming in patients with dental anxiety and watching them leave with a huge smile on their face. True passion, for this path that fell into her lap by chance, is what drives her service, yearning to give every patient the beautiful, healthy smile they deserve, while leading with honesty and compassion. Keri embodies the meaning of teamwork, bringing it outside of BDC, doing 5k runs and half marathons with fellow hygienist and good friend, Eugenia. In her free time, Keri also enjoys making memories with her precious boys, Joseph and Austin.
