Born and raised on Long Island, Dr. Robert Rydstrom brings his energy, artistry, and compassion home to the Babylon Dental Care family. A graduate of the University of Delaware and Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry, he went on to complete advanced training at NYU Langone in Brooklyn, where he honed his skills in comprehensive and aesthetic dentistry.
Today, Dr. Rydstrom blends experience, technology, and empathy to deliver truly personalized care. He is known for his positive, approachable demeanor and his ability to put even the most anxious patients at ease. Whether performing cosmetic restorations, placing implants, or designing minimally invasive veneers, his philosophy is simple: treat every patient like family and take the time to explain every step along the way.
Dr. Rydstrom stays at the forefront of modern dentistry, pursuing continuing education in implant and cosmetic techniques and exploring innovative tools like digital dentistry and virtual-reality comfort technology. He’s passionate about helping patients understand their options and building trust through transparency, education, and genuine connection.
When he’s not creating beautiful, healthy smiles, you’ll likely find Dr. Rydstrom spending time with his wife, family, and nieces and nephews, enjoying sports, or DJing—his lifelong passion for music has even taken him to stages across New York City. Recently married and now a homeowner on Long Island, he’s excited to care for patients in the community he calls home.
