Dr. Eric Weiner brings more than three decades of clinical experience, leadership, and heart to his new role at Babylon Dental Care. A native Brooklynite, Dr. Weiner’s path to dentistry began with a degree in pharmacy—earning his license in 1982—before he followed his true passion and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from NYU College of Dentistry in 1990, graduating in the top 5% of his class. He went on to complete a postdoctoral residency at Montefiore Hospital/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he deepened his clinical skills and honed his empathetic, patient-first approach. Dr. Weiner’s career has spanned solo practice ownership, group practice leadership, and restorative care. For over 17 years, he ran a thriving practice in Fresh Meadows, Queens, followed by ownership of large group practices in Great Neck and Hicksville. He most recently helped revitalize a practice in Stony Brook. He joins Babylon Dental Care in Patchogue with one goal in mind: to get back to what he loves most—taking care of patients.
“Dentistry is it for me. I’ve built the practices; I’ve led the teams. Now, I just want to be the clinician and give back.”

“You can tell when a practice is run right,” he said. “The systems, the culture—it was clear BDC was something special.” Dr. Weiner’s philosophy is rooted in empathy. For him, it’s not just about completing a procedure—it’s about making sure each patient feels heard, safe, and cared for every step of the way. With extensive experience in cosmetic and implant dentistry, he especially
enjoys full-mouth reconstruction and smile makeovers that transform lives in real time.
“It’s all about listening to the patient. That’s where great care starts.” His favorite piece of advice for patients? “Only floss the teeth you want to keep.”
In his spare time, you’ll find him binge-watching thrillers, reading Stephen King and historical fiction. Dr. Weiner is proud to bring his warmth, clinical excellence, and decades of experience to Babylon Dental Care, and he looks forward to continuing his journey of loyalty, trust, and transformative dentistry—one patient at a time.
